Disastrous week in the Studio

I've had a horrible week in the studio.  I wont go into the ins and outs but mucking about with some new designs took longer than expected with little to show.  I guess that's the bit of experimentation that is most frustrating.  There is no greater feeling when you have designed your piece and it turns out well the first time, but there is also nothing worse than the feeling of failure.  I packed up early on Friday in a huff with myself!
Today I did not plan to do work.  My initial plan was to go and tidy up my studio (I am not the tidiest of workers)so I had a clean and clear working space to inspire when i went back on Monday. Instead I ended up blasting out  the "Dead can Dance - The serpents egg" and sitting playing with metal instead. I had a fun morning working on my fret work; Something I really need to improve on.  So, here is my first bit of fret work of the day.  Please feel free to leave any advice on  improving, (techniques etc) my fret work.
